The app won't connect with the driver over BlueTooth. What's wrong?

When the WiFi connection is active, BlueTooth is automatically deactivated since WiFi generally provides a faster connection. You may need to press thee BlueTooth button on the Driver window to reestablish BlueTooth connection. If the app still does not connect you may want to check that BlueTooth is enabled on both Mac/PC as well as on your phone.

Note: in Apple's recent MacOS update to Montery 12.0.1, BlueTooth problems are a know issue. You may need to disable and re-enable BlueTooth on your Mac to get the Driver

The app won't connect with the Driver over WiFi. What's wrong?

The app can only connect with the he Driver if the iPhone and the PC/Mac share the same WiFi, and no firewall is active on the PC/Mac to prevent connections. If a Firewall is active, you need to make sure the Port listed in the Driver window (also visible in the Settings window on the iPhone) is set to "open". When the WiFi connection is working properly, the WiFi button on the Driver window as well as on the Control View is lit up green.

On my Mac, the Left- and Right-click buttons don't work

Apple is very protective of what apps are allowed to do. To make sure the Driver is allowed to "perform mouse-clicks", you have to provide that permission by going to Preferences - Security & Privacy. Then, in the left-hand column, go to Accessibility, and you should find the Upoint app listed in the window to the right. Make sure the checkbox next to it is checked.

Note: due to a known bug in MacOS, you may need to open the Lock in the bottom left of the Preferences window, to then un-check and re-check the checkbox in front of the Upoint-app.

I have dual screens, and the LinkSlide appears on the wrong screen. What to do?

The Upoint app needs to know the 3D location of the display you want to interact with. Displaying the LinkSlide full-screen on that display and taking pictures of it is one way to provide that information. Make sure that the Driver window is located on the display you want to interact with before you press the LinkSlide button on the Opening View.
